Studio & Design Assistant
We are currently seeking a passionate Interior Design student or graduate to join our team as our Design + Studio Assistant in our Summer Hill studio.
This role is initially to support our busy design team and director, however the position has plenty of opportunity for growth within the business.
We are a small business which is all about celebrating and supporting our team’s growth and special skillsets. For the right person, anything is possible.
As our Design + Studio assistant the role would include (but is not limited to):
- Office administration duties;
- Providing EA support to our director
- Assisting with client presentations and meetings;
- Assisting with social media and marketing
- Keeping our beautiful studio curated and tidy
- Managing the design library and liaising with suppliers;
Conducting research for upcoming projects and being Involved in project pitch presentations;
Carrying out site measures;
Sketch planning and documentation assistance;
- Producing sample boards;
- Producing project schedules (finishes, furniture etc.)
Assembling styling packages;
- Styling installation on completed projects
Applicants must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizens, or permanent residents of Australia.
Working alongside the director and our interior designers, this role would provide the successful candidate with a holistic, hands on experience of managing projects from design, conception and through to completion, as well as being involved in the management of a boutique design studio.

- Be experienced and confident in using technology of various forms, and confident and competent in written and verbal communication.
- Applicants must have a basic understanding of the following software (we are PC based):
Microsoft Office
- Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop)
Basic knowledge of PCs and ability to pick up things quickly
