BRIEF

DESIGN A SPACE THAT WAS BOTH A FUNCTIONAL WORKPLACE AND A HOME AWAY FROM HOME. WHERE STAFF COULD WORK, CONNECT AND RELAX. AND ABOVE ALL, CELEBRATE A CULTURE WHERE EVERYONE HAS A SEAT AT THE TABLE.

EXPERIENCE

The timeless design captures an active Australian lifestyle with modern simplicity. The neutral, earthy palette and texture layered on texture creates subtle interest, while soft edges and curved lines reflect human movement and organic forms.

Inside, the open and inviting reception area provides a perfect position for the Club to showcase their projects and community initiatives. Outside, there’s ample space for teams to yoga, lunch or barbeque.

It’s the best of both worlds – equal parts let’s-get-down-to-business and make-yourself-at-home.

Jord International

BRIEF
CREATE AN ASPIRATIONAL HEAD OFFICE AS THE COMPANY’S NEW HOME. REFLECT THE CORE ETHOS OF COMMITMENT TO CLIENT AND STAFF RELATIONSHIPS BY FACILITATING INTERACTION IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF OPENNESS AND WARMTH.

EXPERIENCE
AT JORD INTERNATIONAL, WE DREW INSPIRATION FROM THE CLIENT’S CORE BUSINESS OF ENGINEERING TO CREATE AN EXCEPTIONAL ‘ENGINEERED ENVIRONMENT’.

WE APPLIED AN EGALITARIAN PLANNING PROCESS, INTEGRATING OPEN-PLAN, SCREENLESS WORKSTATIONS TO ENCOURAGE STAFF COLLABORATION OVERLAID WITH A SENSE OF AWARENESS AND RESPECT. DEPARTMENTS ARE AKIN TO A NETWORK OF SMALL COMMUNITIES, POSITIONED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY, WITH FOLIAGE OFFERING DEMARCATION AND PRIVACY.

A BOLD, RAW AESTHETIC DRIVEN BY STRONG LINEARITY IS OFFSET BY A NEUTRAL PALETTE, STRATEGIC LANDSCAPING AND SOFT STYLING ELEMENTS.

HIGHLY DETAILED INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS REFLECT HIGH-END SERVICE. THE RESULT: A PHYSICAL EMBODIMENT OF AN ETHOS OF CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH.
